Our Story
Nexus was founded by Ian McCaig and Nick Smyth, two former Google visionaries who saw firsthand how AI was transforming the SaaS landscape. As generative AI unlocked new capabilities, the sales game changed: buyers moved faster, products became more outcomes-driven, and traditional go-to-market models started to break.
The old model — expensive, static, in-house sales teams — no longer made sense for high-velocity, AI-assisted markets. Sales teams needed to be leaner, more adaptive, and able to scale with demand. And most of all, they needed sellers who could work alongside AI to close business fast.
That's why we built Nexus — a platform for sourcing highly skilled, on-demand contract sellers who help agentic SaaS companies scale efficiently. Whether it's ramping up during periods of hypergrowth or dialing down during quieter quarters, Nexus gives companies the flexibility to grow without the fixed overhead.
